Estimate of the levels of contamination for strongyloidae and of the number of oocysts of eimeria in sheep and goats of the cariri cearense

Resumen

Considered the resistance and predominance verminose in the species sheep and goats of the area of Cariri in Ceará and, trying to contribute for the agricultural products produced in this area, exams were accomplished in 1.050 sheeps and 703 goats. Was looked for to quantify and oportunizar better resources to the small cattle farmer can guarantee subsistence in the field. Took this work that aimed at to know the infestation levels to contribute with the control of the problem of the sheep and goat verminose. High loads were verified would sponge of the family Strongyloidae, and for the species sheep the largest estimate was observed for head office with 1.600,64 eggs for gram of the feces (OPG), while, for goats species was the young male with 3.134,58 OPG. High parasitic load was also observed for the number of eimeria oocysts, and for female young ovino 1.845 oocysts for gram of feces and for the goats ones, the largest punctual estimate was observed for the cabritas with 2.235 oocysts for gram of the feces
