TEORIA INSTITUCIONAL: UM ESTUDO BIBLIOMÉTRICO DA ÚLTIMA DÉCADA NA WEB OF SCIENCE

O objetivo deste estudo é analisar as características das publicações relacionadas à Teoria Institucional no período de 2005 a 2014. Para isso, utilizou-se da base Web of Science da ISI Web of Knowledge buscando a identificação das principais áreas temáticas, autores, instituições, título das fontes, países, idiomas e ano destas publicações. Além disso, 20 tópicos foram relacionados com esta a Teoria Institucional para o cálculo do índice h-b, índice m e identificação dos hot topics, de acordo com a metodologia de Banks (2006). Os resultados revelam que o maior número de publicação pertence aos autores Lai e Wright, publicado majoritariamente no periódico Journal of Business Ethics, com destaque à instituição University of Nottingham, concentrado principalmente nos Estados Unidos e redigidos em inglês. Identificou-se que Mudanças institucionais, Estratégia, Empreendedorismo, Inovação, Teoria da Agência, Economias emergentes, Governo e Teoria Baseada em Recursos são hot topics relacionados à Teoria Institucional. Através da comparação dos artigos mais citados com os autores com maior número de publicações identificou-se que Sarkis, Meyer, Marquis, Zhu e Dacin podem ser considerados como referências em estudos que contemplem a Teoria Institucional.
