Abstract

The present work refers to the structuring process of the Memory Center Leopoldina Amélia Ribeiro de Souza Marques - CMLARSM of the Souza Marques Educational Technical Foundation - FTESM, whose purpose is to reconstruct, preserve and disseminate not only part of the Brazilian education memory, but also Similarly, the institutional memories and the Souza Marques family. Its scope is based on the cataloging of its collection to make it available to the academic community and the general public in the future. Despite the short period of existence, the Center already promotes exhibitions in FTESM's premises.
