Abstract

The seminar of the History Department (UFC/2025), with the theme of “Africa, Africanities and Black Culture” served as a commendable example of student protagonism of several activities as well as a very positive interchange with the UNILAB group of students and teacher. The event quality, focused on the integration between the graduation and post-graduation, the same way that it expanded itself on roundtables, GTs, workshops, film festival, is the result of the interaction which also provided this dossier from the Em Perspectiva (História/UFC) magazine, called “África, Africanidades no Ceará”. This article intends, at the beginning, to bring some elements from the event pathway, before presenting the number of articles which compose the dossier, highlighting the wealth and the originality of both accomplishments.
