Abstract

The objective of this research was to classify and analyze land use and land cover in a multitemporal series in the buffer zone, in order to generate the mapping while the Anthropic Pressure Index (API). As a path to the procedures, techniques and methods of Geoprocessing and Remote Sensing were applied in the SIG Qgis® version 3.4 Madeira, with the objective of carrying out elaboration of land use and coverage and IPA classification. The result showed the diversity of land use, as well as made it possible to interpret the fragmentation of the classes and made it possible to know the parameters of anthropic pressure. Finally, it was concluded that there is a need to maintain the state of conservation and preservation of the area with a low degree of human intervention, as well as to recover the very degraded area, thus making it possible to manage the reserve and the buffer zone.
