Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
Editorial
The editorials are the voice of the journal Medicinae Plantae and are written internally by the editorial staff of the journal and signed as Medicinae Plantae.
Letters
We accept correspondence on the content published at Medicinae Plantae or on other subjects of interest to our readers. The letters must be sent to the Journal via e-mail, must be original, and must not be over 250 words. General interest correspondence, unlinked to items published in the journal, may be up to 500 words. These letters are not peer reviewed (original research is not published in this section), however the journal may request answers from the authors of the original publishing or forward these letters to the authors.
Here, only one table or figure is allowed, and there must not be more than five references and five authors. Every accepted letter is edited and the review is sent to the authors before publishing.
Perspectives
This section is aimed for opinion pieces on specific themes, invited by the Editor, however book reviews and reviews of other media are also published, via e-mail: medicinaeplantae@gmail.com (maximum of 1,500 words, 10 references, and 4 authors).
Journal Articles
Original Papers (maximum 3,000 words, 20 references, and 10 authors), Review Papers (reviews on specific themes - maximum 4,000 words, 40 references, and 7 authors), Abstracts from Master Theses, Doctorate Dissertations, and End of Course Papers, Case Reports (maximum of 1,500 words, 20 references, and 5 authors).
From Indigenous People
Aimed for the sharing of knowledge, community values, cosmologies, worldviews, ways of being, of living, and staying in the world of indigenous peoples and communities (maximum of 3,000 words, 20 references, and 10 authors).
Art and Health
In this section are published paintings, etchings, photographs, and literature related to health in general.
From Multiplicity
With the goal of strengthening minorities, this space is dedicated to the Voices of social minority groups, especially the LGBTQIAP+ community (maximum of 3,000 words, 20 references, and 10 authors).
Adverse Reactions Reports
The Adverse Reactions to Medication Reports are peer reviewed and those accepted are published at the Adverse Reactions Reports section. The text should not be more than 800 words, with a single table or figure and there must not be more than five references. There must not be more than five authors.
