Disturb of behavior and disruption of deficit of attention/hyperactivity: a different analysis

Abstract

The number of parents who look for a treatment for their children with inappropriate behavior which looks like the caracteristics of TDAH related as distraction, hiperativity and impulsivity is getting higher, they don’t always correlate to the disturb. This paper had the objective of analysing the clinic complaints of the behavior aspects that characterize the Disruption of Défcit of Attention/Hiperativity in children and teens, through the document research. A case had participated of the analysis, containing parents and teachers complaints about the behavior children had been presented during primary school.The complaints which were nomed and had the impact were: “lack of attention” (28%) and “hiperativity” (21%), named like “behavior problems”(9%), “impulsivity”(5%), “impatience”(5%), “nervousness”(2%), “rebeliousness”(2%), seggested co-related to the social inability(24%). Other complaints had been showd relatade to the difficulties in the learning processes. Supplementing the study with the interdisciplinated opinions, neurologic,psycologic, and pedagogic, we could observe that only 3 cases were diagnosed as TDAH, corresponding to 17% of the sample. This paper concluded that the teachers’s and parents’s complaints had a correlation without statistics significance in quality and number with suggested as signs of TDAH.
