Construction of instrument to nursing’s assistance in gynecology with prostitutes

Resumo

This constitutes a descriptive study about the construction of an instrument to collect data. It was elaborated based on the diagnostics of the NANDA’s Taxonomy II and it was developed to according of the Model of Life’s Activity created by Roper- Logan-Tierney. Its objective is to describe the construction and the application of an instrument to collect data to systematize nursing assistance in a service of gynecologic nursing for prostitutes. The instrument was applied with 57 prostitute women cared for in the Natural Childbirth Center of University Federal of the Ceará, from February 2007. The instrument constructed was adequate because it enable the identifi cation of the general and specifi c diagnoses of the population in study, as well as the identifi cation of the life activities more affected. The instrument directed the Systematization of the Assistance in Nursing through the identifi cation of the prostitutes´ necessities, enabling more adequate and effi cient assistance.
