Psychobiological needs and their manifestations in the elderly: revision of literature

Resumo

This article of bibliographical revision has been developed with the objective of defining the psychobiological needs and presenting its more frequent manifestations in the elderly, aiming at a better understanding of these necessities and a better attendance to the elderly and, at the same time, at filling a gap in the Theory of the Basic Human Need, by Horta, that is the non-existence of definitions for the majority of psychobiological necessities.
