Sandwich Phd in The Country And Abroad: The CNPq Modalities

Abstract

Supported by the Development Plan of science, Technology and Innovation in the country approved in 2007, the CNPq stimulates the sandwich PhD in the country as well as abroad. Both modalities are addressed to students who are regularly registered in PhD courses in Brazil. These are mechanisms to encourage the approach of research groups and their students being advised meaning to get promising results for the development of the proposed work. As an example of other areas, nursery may enlarge the propositions for the accomplishment of the sandwich PhD. With the aim of contributing with that, we present thereafter, the characteristics and specifi cities of each of them. It is recommended to access the CNPq Page (www.cnpq.br) for occasional need of new advisement, checking the proposition calendar and accessing the forms.
