Researchs in gerontogeriatric nurse on Brazil – 1991 a 2000

Abstract

This bibliographic study aimed to analyze the scientific production of gerontogeriatric nurse, in the Brazilian Nurse Congress, in 1991 until 2000. Identified 281 abstracts, in the thematic areas: the age and the old man (113); the care of gerontogeriatric nurse (50); problems that attach the old man health and specific actions (50); social attention and health attention in gerontogeriatric (43); teaching (25, 21 about the teaching in the gerontogeriatric nurse, in the graduation course). The results show a little visibility of studies in this area, it is very small the contribution on this scientific production in the formation of the future nurse.
