The adolescent and the psychoactive drugs: a conceptual approach

Abstract

The drugs bring pleasure and fascination on the user, and the adolescents have several characteristics that increase the search for this pleasure. We aim at analyzing reflectively the concept related to the problem of use of drugs by adolescents and the relationship between this use and the violence and pleasure. Study conducted from analysis and discussion of some concepts related to the use of drugs by adolescents presented in the national literature. We found out specific concepts that are indispensable to educational everyday life and to the assistance of drug addicts, contributing to the development of professionals in the area.
