          Abstract

          This study aimed at knowing the feelings experienced by sexually abused adolescents. It is an exploratory-descriptive research of qualitative approach. Data were collected at the Sentinel Program – Reference Center in Attention to Sexual Abuse against Children and Adolescents, in the municipality of Sobral-CE, in May 2003. Fifteen adolescents from 11 to 17 years old participated in this study. The instrument used for data collection was a semi-structured interview. We noticed feelings of sadness, grief, revolt, revenge and hatred as we inquired the victims of sexual abuse.
