Dealing with the sexual educational trainning with students of basic education: performance of the nursing

Resumen

This study is aimed to develop a educational project in health directed to sexual education of pupils of the basic education of a public school of Fortaleza-CE. After carried through the survey of the profile of the school, an intervention design was elaborated. The results had shown the low level of knowledge concerning the thematic ones dealt with, surprising fact, since the thematic one is proposal of the new National Curricular Standards of the Ministry of the Education (Brasil, 1997). One concludes that it had significant change in the level of knowledge of these pupils, indicating the relevance of the presence of the nurse in the school, planning and carrying aut the didactic-pedagogical design.
