Qualidade de vida de mulheres com câncer de mama submetidas à radioterapia

Resumen

Objetivo: analizar la relación entre la calidad de vida y  características sociodemográficas y de salud de mujeres  sometidas a radioterapia. Métodos: estudio transversal. Se aplicaron cuestionarios para caracterizar el perfil y escalas de evaluación de la calidad de vida. Se utilizó análisis descriptivo e inferencial. Resultados: presentaron buen estado de salud global/calidad de vida (81,3 ± 18,3). Se encontró correlación entre la edad y los síntomas mamarios (r = -0,202; p = 0,05) y la función sexual (r = -0,484; p = 0,05); peso y síntomas mamarios (r = 0,256; p = 0,05); dosis total de radiación con la función sexual (r = 0,214; p = 0,05) y perspectiva futura (r = 0,267; p = 0,01); Dosis diaria de radiación con la función sexual (r = 0,204; p = 0,05); y entre sesiones de radioterapia con la función sexual (r = 0,214; p = 0,05) y las perspectivas futuras (r = 0,259; p = 0,01). Conclusión: La edad, el peso, la dosis de radiación y el número de sesiones de radioterapia influyen en la calidad de vida. Contribuciones a la práctica: Los datos  pueden impulsar nuevas estrategias de la radioterapia en la calidad de vida de las mujeres.
