Great Humble

Abstract

“Great Rumble” deals with the association between tupanvirus, a giant virus, and Tupi cosmology regarding Tupã. Guided by a sound art developed in collaboration with Tatsuro Murakami, the video merges microscopic views of the tupanvirus, and graphic drawings created based on the readings of the myths about Tupã, especially its interpretation as the First Great Sound and the Void.
