For a philosophy for coming: Nietzsche and thought as creation

Abstract

Among the problems introduced by Friedrich Nietzsche’s thought to Philosophy we can find the matter of Nihilism. Since this concept is employed in multiple senses inside the intellectual path of the German philosopher, the present work has two objectives: Firstly, to analyze the importance of this notion to the nietzschean project of renovation of philosophical thought from the critique of metaphysics as He conceives it; secondly, to examine the range of this aspect of his thought so as to build other possibilities of elaboration of philosophical activities. For the first movement, we shall focus specifically on the problem of “God’s Death” and its relation to what Nietzsche understands as the embrittlement of metaphysics, led to its own paradox; for the second movement, we shall see how different philosophers dealt with this question and developed, each one in their specific way, distinct proposals to the renewal of philosophy.
