Reflective Equilibrium in moral epistemology

The method of reflective equilibrium is used in Ethics as a theory about the justification of moral beliefs. Although some procedures of the method resemble our ordinary moral deliberation, during its implementation we perceive how this method is different from a moral reflection. It is expected that those who use the method revise or give up some of his or her early beliefs in an attempt to come near an ideal state of total equilibrium. The papers aims to present the adaptation of Reflexive Equilibrium to Ethics. I’ll comment on two questions raised by Michael DePaul: the role of moral intuitions and an improvement of the method.
