The theme history of history teaching and its constitution as a curricular discipline

Abstract

This article presents a theoretical framework on the survey of theses and dissertations on the theme History of History teaching, in order to map how the teaching of History for Basic Education is being discussed. The investigation into the History of History teaching as a curricular subject in basic education forms part of the discussion of the text of the master's thesis in the ongoing line of research in History of Education. Methodologically, as a first step, we sought to carry out a bibliographic survey - based on theses and dissertations, in order to identify, select and make a floating reading about what has been produced and what has been researched at the stricto sensu graduate level - on the theme "history of the teaching of History" that is related to the object of study teaching History in elementary primary education in the state of Pará (1946-1960). thus being able to contribute theoretically to it. Among the partial results, the distribution of research in Brazil and the specificities of each region, primarily regarding secondary education, stand out.
