Humanization of the exam of prevention of the cancer of uterine lap and of breast: report of experience

This study has as aims: To tell the experience of looking for the humanization of the exam of prevention of cancer of uterine lap and of breast through the modification of the physical atmosphere and of the rendered attendance the clientele that looks for this service, valuing their feelings during the exam; and, to reveal the opinion of 31 women assisted due to the implemented modifications. The speeches obtained through interview were classified, showing that the atmosphere and the nurse’s conduct promoted relaxation and they allowed the explanation of doubts. At the end of this report, we considered important to emphasize that the accomplished changes were reasonable and space to the encounter of the humanization strategies proposed by Ministry of Health.
