A CARÊNCIA DE CORPORA PARA PESQUISA E ENSINO NO CONTEXTO DA INTEGRAÇÃO INTERNACIONAL LUSÓFONA / THE CORPORA DEFICIENCY FOR RESEARCH AND TEACHING IN THE CONTEXT OF THE LUSOPHONE INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATION

Este artigo tem por objetivo central tratar da necessidade de constituição de corpora de variedades faladas do português em Países Africanos de Língua Oficial Portuguesa (PALOP) e no Timor-Leste. A carência evidencia-se de forma mais efetiva no contexto específico da integração internacional lusófona verificado na Universidade da Integração Internacional da Lusofonia Afro-Brasileira (UNILAB), uma instituição federal de caráter internacional que acolhe até cinquenta por cento de seus estudantes de Angola, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, Moçambique, São Tomé e Príncipe e Timor Leste. Os bancos de dados de língua falada não somente constituem uma ferramenta de pesquisa linguística, mas também importante material subsidiário para atividades de ensino em programas educacionais de formação de professores de língua portuguesa como primeira e como segunda língua (português para estrangeiros). Além disso, esse corpus proporcionaria a essa mesma clientela o conhecimento e o respeito às variedades linguísticas, fato bastante enfatizado nos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais para o ensino da Língua Portuguesa do Ensino Fundamental e Médio.

ABSTRACT

This article has the main objective address the need to establish corpora of spoken varieties of Portuguese in African Countries of Portuguese Official Language (PALOP) and East Timor. The need is evidenced more effectively in the specific context of international integration Lusophone verified at the University of International Integration of African-Brazilian Lusophony (UNILAB), a federal institution of international character that welcomes up to fifty percent of their students from Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe and East Timor. The spoken language databases not only constitute a linguistic research tool, but also important subsidiary material for teaching activities in educational training programs for Portuguese-speaking teachers as first and as a second language (Portuguese for foreigners). Moreover, this corpus would provide the same customers the knowledge and respect for linguistic varieties, indeed quite emphasized in the National Curriculum Standards for the teaching of Portuguese Language of Elementary and Secondary Education.
