Abstract

Locative media are digital location systems that allow interaction between physical, social and digital networks. It is intended to observe contemporary mobile devices and the possibilities of interaction in localization services, emphasizing the artistic and narrative projects developed through these media. These devices allow the construction of cartographies, mappings and narratives through digital networks and the main narrative of this text is the “Trilha dos Sete Degraus” that tells stories of the old Estrada Real that connects the city of Cunha, in São Paulo to the Port of Paraty, in Rio de Janeiro. This route is known as Estrada Real.
