Freedom and Discipline

Abstract

This video is part of a series produced for the group “30dias30beats”, a group of music producers that met over the internet at the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 and launched the challenge of releasing 30
audiovisual pieces per day within a month. These pieces were launched on instagram and all used the hashtag # 30dias30beats. This piece presented here is a composition using the Sunvox program with excerpts from a lecture by Paulo Freire at USP in 1994. In the video, an excerpt in which Professor Paulo Freire was selected Explains:

“There is no freedom without discipline, in other words, I could say there is no freedom without limit. The limit is exactly the mediation of the discipline, that is, the limit is the path of the discipline. ”
