Abstract

The article aims to analyze the context of transformations in film production in the Northeast Region of Brazil, especially on the context which supported its development towards the interior of the region, portraying other modes of production and of being beyond the model of classic regionalism. Afterwards, the role of film festivals in establishing an affective network of possibilities will be presented, exploring the case of Curta Taquary (Taquary Short Film Festival), an event held in the interior of Pernambuco.
