Opening for Submissions – Regular Edition 2026

12/09/2025

Contextus – Contemporary Journal of Economics and Management is pleased to announce the official opening of submissions for its 2026 Regular Issue.
Researchers, faculty members, professionals, and graduate students are invited to submit original manuscripts that contribute meaningfully to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of Administration, Economics, Public Management, Accounting, Innovation, and related areas.

New Features for 2026

In addition to the traditional section for Scientific Articles, the 2026 issue will include two new submission sections, expanding opportunities for disseminating and strengthening applied scientific production:

  1. Technological Articles

These manuscripts focus on the development of practical solutions, managerial interventions, tools, applied methods, and technological artifacts capable of addressing real organizational problems.
This section aims to bridge academic research and professional practice, fostering innovation in management.

  1. Fast Track Articles from Academic Events

The journal will now host, in a dedicated section, articles recommended by the scientific committees of national and international academic events, ensuring priority editorial processing.
Manuscripts submitted via Fast Track must be accompanied by documentation, including the event’s review reports and a summary of the revisions made.

Submission Process

Submissions must be made exclusively through the journal’s OJS system: http://periodicos.ufc.br/contextus

Manuscripts may be submitted in Portuguese, English, or Spanish.
Authors should carefully review the Submission Guidelines, the journal’s template, and the updated editorial policies, including the new guidelines for Technological Articles and Fast Track submissions.

Fees

Contextus reaffirms its commitment to open access:
We do not charge submission, processing, or publication fees.
