Didactic strategies for the understanding of content in geography lessons

The present work aims to present the experiences and results obtained from the use of different didactic strategies in the Geography lessons, based on the intervention project developed under the PIBID Geography Subproject of the UEPB in the 1st year class D Afternoon of the State School. São Sebastião, in the city of Campina Grande-PB. Reflection on the insertion of new classroom strategies becomes necessary as geographic contents are involved in complex and articulate contexts. In this context, some didactic strategies were used in collective work with the students, who built understandings, analyzes and, in an integrated way, demonstrated their abilities and capacities of representation of the geographic space.
