Abstract

An important strategy for working with environmental education, in a playful, dynamic, and attractive way, is through the environmental interpretation on hiking trails. Thus, the objective of this work is to present a proposal of environmental interpretation for the Trilha do Galhardo, in the Mata da Pipa State Park/RN as an interdisciplinary pedagogical space. This is a qualitative research, which had as data collection tools, a bibliographic survey about the area, field activities to recognize the trail, and demarcation of points where environmental interpretation activities can be carried out. Thus, Trilha do Galhardo can be considered a trail with high interpretive potential, easy access and low level of difficulty, becoming a starting point for the implementation and development of this and other trails in the park.
