Calidad de la atención de enfermería y métodos de trabajo según la percepción de las enfermeras en un hospital privado.

Resumen

Objetivo: Evaluar la percepción de las enfermeras sobre la calidad de la atención de enfermería en un hospital privado y su relación con las características sociodemográficas y profesionales, los métodos de trabajo y la valoración general del servicio. Métodos: Estudio transversal y correlacional con 105 enfermeras, mediante un cuestionario electrónico autoadministrado. Se utilizó la Escala de Percepción de las Actividades de Enfermería que Contribuyen a la Calidad de la Atención. Los datos se analizaron mediante estadística descriptiva y pruebas no paramétricas. Resultados: Las enfermeras manifestaron una percepción favorable de la calidad de la atención. Se identificaron diferencias en el dominio de bienestar y autocuidado y en la puntuación total, según la frecuencia percibida del método individual. La valoración general del servicio mostró diferencias en la puntuación total y en cinco dominios. Conclusión: La calidad de la atención se percibió favorablemente, con diferencias relacionadas con el método individual y la valoración general del servicio. Contribuciones a la práctica: Los hallazgos respaldan estrategias de gestión dirigidas a clarificar los métodos de trabajo, fortalecer la participación de las enfermeras en los objetivos del servicio y monitorear estándares de calidad sensibles a la enfermería.
