    Abstract

This article addresses the socio-environmental conflict that arose in 1995 with the arrival of the Canadian company Minera San Xavier (MSX) in the municipality of Cerro de San Pedro, San Luis Potosí, with the aim of presenting the most relevant results of the research project carried out between 2011 and 2013. From the articulation of two approaches, that of territoriality and that of political subjectivation, attempts were made to explain the reconfiguration of the processes of appropriation of territory and the process of political subjectivation occurring in the context of the conflict.
