John Finnis' analytical natural law

The intention of the article is not so much take over the theses of natural law contained in the work of John Finnis, while all the time they are present, but only to outline the methodological choice of the author. What was the claim of methodological John Finnis to write and publish Natural Law and Natural Rights? Perhaps the author gives us the best clue when he writes that the choice of the analytical theory of law came before the option of natural law. Choose which placed partly in the tradition of his mentor Herbert L. A. Hart, who recognizes the invaluable contributions to the conceptualization of law, especially the descriptive power of analytic theory. Thus, like Hart, Finnis took hard linguistic accuracy and the intrinsic difficulties of the analytical tradition.Downloads
