Abstract

This article addresses the evaluation of the implementation process of the Incluir Program: accessibility in higher education at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. The starting question asked: How is the Incluir Program being implemented at UFRN? It aimed to: evaluate the implementation process of the Incluir Program at UFRN. The qualitative research brought together bibliographic, documentary and empirical research. For data collection we used: systematic observation, semi-structured interview, analysis of documents and photographs to illustrate the environments, buildings, furniture and assistive technology equipment. We noted the implementation of services, technical support, didactic-pedagogical resources in an accessible format, in spite of their disproportionality among the types of disabilities, CAENE's fragile communication and guidance with teachers, disproportion between the program's axes, barriers and accessibility coexist in roads, buildings and furniture, but as a whole they enable the partial inclusion of academics with disabilities.
