A Representação da Cidade de Camapuã-MS no Poema "Torrão Amado" de Aparecido Alves Machado
Abstract
This article aims to identify and analyze elements that evidence the representation of space referring to the Camapuã city (Mato Grosso do Sul) in the poem “Torrão amado”, from the book Cinderelas do campo (1992), by Aparecido Alves Machado. The author takes part of a group of Camapuã’s poets who, throughout the 1990s, produced poems and narratives, especially about the city of Camapuã-MS. Romantic aesthetics and the relationship with space are evident aspects of this group. Therefore, in order to understand the elaboration of space in Alves Machado's poetics, we take an analytical path divided into three main lines: the literature of Mato Grosso do Sul, romanticism and the configuration of space. As a theorical support, with regard to the Mato Grosso do Sul literature, we elected Pontes (1981), Rosa e Nogueira (2011). Cademartori (1993) and Moisés (2012) compose the rationale regarding Romanticism, considering the poet's aesthetic bias. Finally, we consider the studies on the configuration of the space, guided mainly by the contributions of Gaston Bachelard (2005) and Eric Dardel (2011).
