Abstract

The relationship between memory and poetry in the thought of Silvina Rodrigues Lopes is linked to an idea of poetry as a resistance to simplification and reduction of the world.

This relationship between memory and poetry implies a process of active remembrance that makes the poem an active remain of reality: it becomes a vestige capable of rematerializing the world.

Approaching the conception of poetry advocated by Silvina Rodrigues Lopes to the writings of Tim Ingold and Baudrillard on material reality, we seek to understand in which ways Alberto Pimenta's poetry reconfigure the relationship that the observer/reader establishes with time, exploring the links between text and matter in two poems from Nove fabulo, o mea vox, De novo falo, a meia voz.

The incorporation and valorization of an imperfect tendency in Pimenta's poetry is related to the problematizing structure of the poems, built from the proposition of an unsolvable enigma, porsuing a poetic of resistance.
