Focus and Scope

Mission

To publish technical-scientific articles and study cases (original projects) that are not submitted to other journals, involving new researches and technologies in fields related to Agrarian Sciences. Articles concerning routine analysis, preliminary studies, technical notes and those which merely report laboratorial analysis employing traditional methodology will not be accepted for publication. The Journal of Agronomical Science also has the mission to promote the exchange of experience in the referred fields.

Audience

It is addressed to professors, scientists, students and others interested in the fields of Agrarian Sciences, Animal Sciences, Fishing, Food Production and Natural Resources.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Revista Ciência Agronômica

The Revista Ciência Agronômica (ISSN 0045-6888-impress e 1806-6690-online) is a scientific journal (four number/year) edited by the Federal University of Ceará, in Ceará State, Brazil since 1971. The creation of the Journal was a natural result of the need to spread the knowledge acquired in the agrarian science by the researchers of the old Agronomy School. Nowadays, the Revista Ciência Agronômica has among its readers professors, researchers and students of areas similar to agronomy from universities all over Brazil and foreign countries.

Articles publicated in the Revista Ciência Agronômica are indexed in ISI (Institute for Scientific Information), CAB International (Center for Agriculture and Biosciences); AGROBASE (Base de Dados da Agricultura Brasileira); AGRIS (International Information System for the Agricultural Sciences and Technology) da FAO and AGRICOLA (Agricultural Online Access)
