Abstract

Currently it is possible to identify a vast scientific production related to oral practices, considering its different aspects such as teacher training, teaching, school practices and other thematic axes. However, when considered as part of early years teacher training programs, oral practices have still received little attention in research. Thus, this text aims to analyze the role that oral practices play in curriculums for pedagogues’ training. The analysis object of this documental research is the programs of language curricular components that belong to pedagogical projects of Pedagogy courses from public institutions. The analysis, based on theoretical constructs of Socialdiscursive Interactionism, especially the contributions made by Dolz; Schneuwly (1996) and by Colognesi; Dolz (2017), points out that, in fact, oral practices still play a peripheral role in the curriculum design of pedagogy programs, which would represent a gap in teacher training and, consequently, school practices.
