University and authentic life according to Ortega y Gasset

In this paper we examine the two principal texts written by Ortega y Gasset in 1930. These texts, both famous and ordinarily treated independently, reveal a deep articulation when we observe that the reform proposed in Misión de la universidad aims to solve the problems of mass men identified in La rebelión de las masas.
