Abstract

Marx ́s economic critique has become outdated because of the deep changes that have occurred in capitalism since The Capital. Nowadays, productivity and labor time have lost space for innovation and technology incorporated to the product as determinant factors of value. This fact, added to the central role of the financial system in current economy, makes Marxist theory inefficient to understand the complexity of the economic phenomena of our times.
