Abstract

In this research, we analyze constructions diachronically in mind, the varieties classical and vulgar Latin, in order to evaluate the change process and verify that these constructions in Latin, unlike what happens in Portuguese, there is greater consistency between behavior and thus grammarians assert that about her. For this, we used the classical grammarians to evaluate the treatment devoted to adverbs. Furthermore, we analyze the periphrastic locutions adverbial in mind with Latin texts of the Vulgate, representatives of the variety vulgar Latin and the works of Ovid and Virgil, representatives of Classical Latin. The conclusions reached were that, despite the use of neglected buildings adverviais in mind, the main considerations that such grammarians wove about adverbs can also be applied to instances adverbial phrases that treat both the classic mode as in vulgar Latin.
