Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand and analyze the processes involved in the production of humour and new lexical units and verify the constitution and the witty functioning of the senses in entries that make up the book Le dictionnaire des mots qui n’existent pas (1992). To carry out this research, we consider Freud (1905), Possenti (2010), Bergson (2007) and Raskin (1944). So, we explore some questions which allowed us to understand how the lexicon, presented as a comic creativity, reveals an offensive reality.

Anderson Braga do CARMO, Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP

Anderson Braga do Carmo é doutorando em Linguística - Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp). Também é mestre em Estudos da Linguagem - Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL). Possui graduação em Letras pela mesma instituição - Habilitações: Licenciatura em Língua Portuguesa e Respectivas Literaturas (Departamento de Letras Vernáculas e Clássicas); Habilitação Opcional em Língua e Cultura Francesas (Departamento de Letras Estrangeiras Modernas). Atua principalmente nos temas: História das Ideias Linguísticas, Semântica do Acontecimento e Estudos Lexicais.
