Abstract: This article seeks to discuss the role of the Internet in the processes of dissemination and dissemination of South Korean cinematographic productions beyond its neighboring countries, aiming at the analysis of the presence of K-films beyond the Pacific. This study focuses on the productions of renowned South Korean director Park Chan-Wook (박찬욱), as a scope of investigations and implications for the understanding of Korean film culture, in social and historical aspects that affect Brazilian culture. Concluding that Korean productions have broken old cultural and territorial barriers, especially with the productions of Park Chan-Wook, showing the South Korean film culture, which had gone through a process of resignification in search of its own aesthetic and cultural identity.
