This article, of exploratory nature, aims to build a theoretical reflection about the notions of image, imaginary and aesthetic experience from Gilbert Durand (1997), Gilles Deleuze y Félix Guattari (1992) and Eduardo Duarte (2019), especially. Then, an articulation between the authors' thoughts is performed with a study on the images of women in the narratives of advertising (billboard) and urban interventions (graffiti) in the city of Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte. To this end, images and speeches of graffiti artists and advertisers are presented to compose the debate. In the end, it is possible to think about the complexity of these female images in culture under the light of theories.
