Uma leitura ecofeminista da poesia de Sónia Sultuane
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this article is to discuss the ecofeminist representation in Sónia Sultuane's poetic production, considering, therefore, Sonhos (2001), Imaginar o Poetizado (2006), No colo da Lua (2009) and Roda das Encarnações (2017) and thinking about the sociocultural and gender relations of a newly independent African country that preserves patriarchal, colonial and Eurocentric traditions. It was necessary, therefore, to develop an exploratory, bibliographical and qualitative study, seeking theoretical contributions from different experts, such as Brandão (2003), Freitas (2019), Guattari (2012), Soares (2005), Mies and Shiva (1993), between others. With the selected poems, we saw an intimate relationship between the human being and Nature and a poetic voice that rescues African traditions and memories, under an animist bias and, revealing a poetry that is in harmony with ecofeminist principles, as problematizes human and more-than-human symbiotic relationships and presents a self-affirmation of a female identity in a post-colonial, patriarchal and capitalist society.
