This second volume is dedicated to Professor Rosemary Dore, creator of ABAPEVE, as a tribute to her valuable contribution to the consolidation of school dropout as a field of investigation and intervention in Brazil; in recognition of its legacy in the teacher training process; and for the audacity to establish an Association dedicated to carrying out studies, research and technical support to educational institutions for the prevention of dropouts.
