Resumo

This study focuses on the Primary Health Care „access‟ and „bond‟ component, aimed at analyzing tuberculosis control actions in the context of the Family Health Team. It is a qualitative research performed in the metropolitan region of Joao Pessoa, PB, Brazil, that involved five patients with tuberculosis. Testimonies were collected through semi-structured interviews and organized through content analysis, through modality thematic. To obtain tuberculosis diagnosis the patients prefer specialized services. In places where access was easier, the approach for promoting bond with patients and their families was favored, highlighting the nurses and community health workers. Some changes were necessary in planning and / or local organization to facilitate access and strengthen the relationship between team / patient. Thus increasing practices based on comprehensiveness will be possible.
