The 5th Workshop on Textual Linguistics, held in May 2024, was dedicated to Professor Dr. Mônica Magalhães Cavalcante and centered around the theme "The Text and Its Relationality." The event emphasized the importance of understanding the text as an integration of discursive dimensions that foster coherence across various contexts. Discussions focused on key aspects such as referentiation, intertextuality, argumentation, coherence, enunciation, as well as the challenges posed by digital texts and educational contexts. This dossier brings together articles originating from the thematic symposia presented at the event. The contributions delve into innovative and complex dimensions of Textual Linguistics, addressing topics such as argumentativity, textuality in digital environments, referentiation in political-legal discourse, intertextual practices, and the interplay between verbal and non-verbal language.
